Yar River, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, England

The final meanders of the Yar river just before reaching the town of Yarmouth. It’s a tiny river, just a few miles long, and this shot is part of the tidal estuary, which is why it looks so wide. It could be wilderness…but it’s not, it’s a tiny river surrounded by houses and shops and pubs….and the ferry back to the mainland is just a 10 minute walk away….
